Bookends Compatibility

I was giving Bookends a try and when I went to scan the document (both with the Macro and from within Bookends) NWE 2.1.1 consistently crashed. The rather unhelpful Bookends tech suggested I ask Nisus. So I am asking has anyone had this problem or could suggest a solution?

As far as I can tell it’s working. But the first time i made the test after reading your about your problem with Bookend/NWE, both (or maybe only one of them, I could not tell which…) were playing beachball for several minutes until I decided that it was time for a tie brake (cmd-alt-esc).

But the second time it work just as it is supposed to work.

Sorry, I do not know why it does not work all the time.

My experience with the helpdesk at Sonny Software (Bookend) is just good. I have always, and I mean always, got quick and accurate response from them and all my problems with Bookend has been solved permanently (or temporary until a later fix).
