Okay, 2.1 feels much snappier, great! And congratulations.
Problem: 2.1 starts up fine, works okay (my basic word-processing needs). Then I go to other running programs (Safari, Excel, Word, etc.) and when I return to Nisus by clicking the alias on the Dock, and when no Nisus file is open, and when I then enter {apple/command key}O to open a new blank default document, the program crashes, and I get an error message saying 'submit a bug report to apple?'
Running 10.3.6, G4, tons of ram.

....not terribly repeatable, but has happened 3 times today.
Rob:
You might want to try restoring your Nisus New File. We updated the default version for 2.1. To do this do the following:
1. Choose "Preferences" from the Nisus Writer Express menu.
2. Click on the button at the top labeled "New Document"
3. Click on the "Advanced" tab
4. Click on the "Restore Factory Settings" button.
You will be asked to confirm that you want to do this; click "Yes" and the deed will be done.
Let us know if this does not clear up your problem. Also, when you do get a crash like this, please relaunch Nisus Writer Express and send us feedback using the "Send Feedback" command in the "Help" menu. This will send us the information we need to be able to fix your problem.
