Much faster! Start up is better, lots of sqashed bugs. Only one I still see that hasn't been fixed is columns in horizantal view.

I sound like a broken record, but in my case, an update that does not include the function formerly known as GLOSS (called RUBY by LightWay Text, it enables furigana for Japanese--small writing over the top of a word) means that Nisus Express still is unusable as a decent Japanese word processor. I encourage you to try LightWay Text if you are in need of this function also.

2.1 is much better in many ways. Making the page horizontal and two columns now works on screen, but sadly not in print which means its all a bit pointless.

Still, NWE is the best WP I have come across for OS X.

I wrote a report a month ago in my class at the university and it contained some graphics and 4 pages of text with 5 endnotes. In version 2.0.1 of NWE it weighted 3.5 Mb(!). After I re-saved the document with NWE 2.1 it only weights 472 Kb! Great work!!
