Forgetting Spacing & Page Numbering

NWE forgets the line-spacing of my document every time I open it. It seems to have a thing for 1.5 spacing and I have to reset it to my preference, 1.1, every time.

Same thing with page numbering after section breaks. NWE restarts the numbering at 1 after every section break, no matter how many times I tell it to continue from the last page.

Maybe it's specific to long documents, like the 70-pager I'm working on now. I haven't tested it extensively. But is there a fix for this? Or should I wait until 2.0, which is looking very promising on your preview page?

I find the same thing. I have no consistency in being able to keep line spacing. I save documents. And then when I open them again, like your self it goes back to single spaces.

Being able to format text and keep the changes is essential. So any suggestions on what is going on?

Word 5.1 to me is still the easiest and simpliest of all the lot. But the elegance of NWE keeps me hoping that you'll be able to find a way to come up with a more stable product. Good luck!

Are you using the latest version? I know that the bug where section number settings are lost has been fixed since 2.1.1. There was also a line spacing bug fixed around the same time. If you're not using 2.1 or later, can you download the latest version and give it a try?
