Get help using and writing Nisus Writer Pro macros.

Typing Code for Macros

I see a distinction between single quotes and quotes in the documentation; however, wen I am typing code, do I need to ensure the quotes are straight as opposed to curly?

Unless you're entering Perl code, it doesn't matter. Nisus Macros treat straight/dumb quotes the same as curly/smart quotes.
