Hello,
I'm interested in export a style that I created in one document and importing it into another document.
I was looking through the program and through the forums and found nothing that would allow me to perform this function.
I did find it in the features requests for version 3.0.
Am I correct in assuming that there is no way to perform the desired function in NWE v2.7?
Thanks for you attention,
Michael

While there is no specific style import/export feature you can accomplish the same thing simply by copy-pasting styles.
1. Open the document you wish to export the styles from.
2. Switch to the Stylesheet view.
3. Select the styles you wish to export from the list on the left hand side.
4. This step is somewhat redundant and we should fix it, but you also need to select the same styles on the right hand side. Eg: so they appear with the blue border and background.
5. Copy them (eg: Command-C or the menu Edit > Copy).
6. Open the document you wish to add the styles to.
7. Paste the styles (eg: Edit > Paste).
Depending on your workflow you might also set up a collection of template documents that you can simply open when you require a specific set of styles. This can't help you move styles around in existing documents, but is helpful if you have a common set of tasks.

Martin,
even if I can make a multiple selection of styles on the left pane, I'm not able to select all the styles on the right pane, as you spoke in you redundant step above: only the first style in the left multiselection is selected...and paste to the new document.
?
Must I only cut-n-paste style by style and not several styles in a shot ?
