disappearing text & font select problems

I'm revising my dissertation on ancient Greek poetry & converting it tediously from NW Classic to NWE. I have a couple of recurring problems:

1) When I cut/paste Greek Unicode text from 1 doc to another, the text from the point of the paste to the end of the doc sometimes disappears. The text preceding the paste & all of the footnotes appear normal. If I save the doc, close it, & reopen it, then the pasted text & all subsequent text appears again.

B) In the tedious process of converting all of my old Greek text from Athenian font to New Athena Unicode, the "select all" function should make the whole thing easy. But not all of the target text actually ends up selected. I end up having to use "select all" repeatedly to highlight all of the text in the target font, & the problem is not that some of the target text is underlined or otherwise modified. Some apparently plain text is ignored, while other identical text is selected.

Any suggestions to solve my problems? TIA,

1) We are working on a version (a free upgrade) that should solve these kinds of footnote issues. You can try the beta yourself if you are adventurous:

B) This I have not seen. It may have something to do with the particular files you are working with. Could you send a copy to expressfeedback@nisus.com for us to look at?
