My spelling window is white and I can no longer see the list of alternative words to correct mistakes.
I don't know if I changed color preferences.
I use dark mode.
Can anyone help me set the preferences correctly?
Thanks

Try switching back from dark mode to light mode to see if it makes any difference.

Re: About Spelling window
I tried already, b ut it doesn't work.
I quite suspect it's a question of color preferences, to highlight the list below. But I can't manage it

Re: About Spelling window
Go to Nisus Prefs > Languages. Select your primary language in the left pane. In the right pane, select it in the "Spelling" popup menu.
If that does not work, try correcting spelling in the contextual menu for the misspelled word.

Re: About Spelling window
Ok, the list is present but not visible, the window always remains white.
I noticed that by clicking one by one the words become visible, and you have to scroll through the whole list to find the right word with the risk that by clicking you select the wrong one.
Ultimately the list is there, but it is not highlighted
