Does Nisus Express have an insert date and/or time feature?

Hi, Robin. If you look in the Macro menu, you should find a basic date stamp macro.

A couple of other macros have been posted on this site. They let you format the date a little more nicely. Check mine and another by Al Hatch.

Another option, which cgc recommended, is Devon Technologies' WordService. It lets you insert the date and/or time in various formats.

Charles, an official Nisus person, tells us that date insertion is on the list of features to add to Nisus Writer Express proper, so eventually these third-party solutions won't be necessary.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I should have looked around some more but since I have not tried to write (or program) any macros/scripts I haven't paid much attention to the macro menu. I'll check out all of these.
