how to use Bookends with NWE?

Post by TimL »

This is probably a Bookends question rather than NWE, but I'm trying out NWE and maybe someone can give me a quick reply. If I create temporary citations using "Copy Citation" in BE, then scan the document, I get a bibliography that I can copy from the clipboard, but my temporary citations aren't changed to the proper style (i.e. changing brackets to parentheses). Is there something simple that I'm missing?

I think this is more likely to be something in Bookends. I'm assuming you are using Harvard style but have you checked the stlyle settings? It might be worth posting on the Bookends forum as Jon Ashwell (the creator of Bookends) hangs out there and may be able to help.

I probably shouldn't have said "proper style," all I meant is that the temporary citation information in brackets isn't being changed when I scan the document.

I'll post in the Bookends forum if no one knows the answer here.
