hi there
i am thinking of switching to nisus, but i can't find a way to insert a table of content, is that possible? i can't find something in the user guide either, but i just can't imagine that there is no way of doing an index? can anyone help?
thanks

no index???
Sorry to disappoint you, but at this point there are no index or table-of-contents creation features. You aren't the first person who has asked about these.
If your document isn't too complex, you might try what I did. I clicked in a header style, used the paragraph tag in the status bar to select all paragraphs with that style, copied to the clipboard, moved the insertion point to the location where I wanted the table of contents, then pasted. That gave me a list of all of the main headers, which I could then format as I pleased. Of course, I had to add the page numbers manually.

Tiger? Really? What fantastic features does Tiger add to the Cocoa frameworks that will help you implement this? Will/would you be using CoreData?
Very interesting!
