Greek font problems redux

I was about to resign myself to retyping all of the Greek text in updating my diss. from NW 6.5 (Athenian) to NWE 2.1.2 (New Athena Uni), when the Athenian text began miraculously to appear properly in NWE. Then I went from OS 10.3.9 to Tiger & NWE 2.1.3, & now my Athenian text is gobbledygook again. Can anyone explain why the theoretically impossible Athenian epiphany happened in the 1st place? Can I get Athenian to work again in 2.1.3? Could I recreate the favorable conditions by partioning my hard-drive & installing OS 10.3.9 + NWE 2.1.2?

what is the type of file you are opening? It is a Nisus Writer 6.5 file? Does it open with all the proper formatting, even if the text itself is screwed up?

I was copying & pasting text from a 6.5 doc into NWE 2.1.2. As I said, the Athenian font formatting was originally scrambled in the process, but it suddenly appeared correctly in 2.1.2. I had thought that this couldn't happen b/c of the way OS 9 differs from 10 in its treatment of fonts, but it worked for a while. Any ideas? Thanks,
