I am very interested in trying out Automator with NWE and am working with it this morning. In the meantime, do the Nisus folks see perhaps packaging some useful Automator scripts for Nisus?
Much thanks,
Craig Turner
Automator plans?
Hi Craig:
We have looked at automator a little bit, but right now we don't have any specific plans for it. However, we plan on revisiting our entire macro/scripting system sometime after 2.5 is released, so PERHAPS there will be something in this direction in the future.
Cheers,
-Charles

What about simple support?
Not being a programmer (or giving thought to your workload!), I can throw words like 'easy' and 'simple' around, with gay abandon!
...so, wouldn't it be fairly easy to offer simple Automator support by at least allowing NWX scripts to be run from an Automator workflow?
I'm thinking of an Automator plugin that accepts text (clipboard or previous Automator step), a text/RTF/Word doc, or a Nisus doc (i.e. stored in the Doc Manager/Nisus folder), and run any of the scripts currently available to NWX? Of course that would need to be able to open/close/save the file, but they'd be 'simple' things to do, I imagine.
That would likely tide us over until you do something more dramatic post 2.5/3.x
