Setting margins

Post by LouieF »

Is it possible to set margins wider than the default? I have not found any reference to this in the documentation to this program. Even the venerable old MacWrite could do that. What's up with this?

You should be able to change the margins by placing the pointer above one of the lines that define the margins. (To see them, make sure that Page Guides is checked under the View menu.) The pointer should turn into a double-headed arrow. Click and drag. Does that work?

You can change your default margins by doing the same thing in Nisus New File or whatever document you want to use as a template.

Thank you so much! It works. I was trying to do it with the ruler, and you can't do it that way.

It's a nice program, but the documentation could be clearer and better organized.
