And there are a few features that are sorely needed.

I guess the company would appreciate it if you mention which features.

I hope for a Track Changes that works as well as the one on Word 2011 or better :) (well d'oh, since it's Nisus it'll obviously be better).

To paraphrase what I wrote not long ago on this forum (under a related topic)
Thank you all for your concern.

We are aware that we have been, and continue to be, very quiet regarding our development efforts. This happens to be our company culture. Please be sure that we are not resting on our laurels, nor, spending this beautiful end of winter surfing out in the San Diego waves.

More, I am not at liberty to write. We thank you all for your support and continued patience.

I know the top management at Nisus will not like I do it, but as a beta-tester I cannot retain revealing the two things I liked more:

- having removed RTF compatibility and only saving Plain Text, to conform to the iOS specification, is a great problem-solver when coming to formatting;
- the new flamingo-pink user interface is really exciting, very elegant and matching well my personal collection of Disney's Dwarfs. My girlfriend loves it.

What I really didn't like was the new Ruler policy: the ruler has been totally removed from the standard edition, and you can now purchase an optional package including one, two or three rulers. Prices are unknown, but I would find nice if at least the one-ruler option could be released for free to the Pro version customers.

Look I have to admit having strong feelings about rulers, but I will sacrifice them if Paolo will sacrifice his pink environment. It just would not go with my coloring! When you're green you have to be careful. :D

I’m impressed! An advocate for vertical rulers AND a fashion conscious one on top of that!

Who could ask for a better combination?! I imagine Mrs. greenmorpher is the luckiest person on the planet.

Geoff, we can discuss it. But what's bad with pink + green?

Is that all it takes to get to get heaven? 3 Rulers?

Geoff, you’re cheap!

Seriously after all the years Geoff has mentioned this, I almost think I would be unpatriotic to the Nisus world if I also didn’t request vertical rulers.

With your support, exocet, rulers just rocketed to favoritism! :D

And let's not forget a graphics overlay like the old NW. And while we're at it, how about a a database and spreadsheet like the old AppleWorks?

Hey, I can feel this thing developing already! NisusWorks -- really works!

Best regards

Geoff, you are kidding, but an office suite by Nisus and other indipendent companies would make me more than happy. I wouldn't want a wordprocessor with every office function inside, but a close integration between the best office apps for the Mac would be nice.

Maybe an integration between Nisus Writer, Tables, NoteBook/Things, and a desktop version of Prezi.com?
