Apple Advanced Typography

As I've understood it, this technology adds several features which are of interest to me and my writing to text handling in Mac OS X. Is this implemented in NWP? How much control do I have over typographical details such as ligature handling, kerning etc. in NWP?

with the complex fonts needed you can bypass NisusWriter even within NisusWriter: "Format/Font/Show Fonts" will open the OS X Font Panel as in any other application. Down below the left corner use the click wheel for typographic specials then - enjoy...
