Apple Silicon and Nisus Apps
"Hot and Ready"
If you've been an especially good human this year, maybe Santa will bring you a shiny new Mac with an Apple Silicon (M1) chip inside. We should all be so lucky! News reports indicate that Apple's new chips are amazing.
You may be wondering: are Nisus apps ready? Yes they are! All our apps have native support for Apple Silicon and will be noticeably faster on a new Mac. For more details you can read our blog post about Nisus Writer's performance on Apple Silicon.
The one caveat is file conversions in Nisus Writer Pro. Certain file formats (e.g. DOCX) require the use of specialized converters which do not run natively on Apple Silicon. Those conversions are still seamless on M1 Macs by using Apple's Rosetta technology.
InfoClick 1.2.8
"You Only M1 Twice"
Speaking of Apple Silicon, InfoClick also has native support. However, the last app version accidentally removed it. InfoClick version 1.2.8 was recently released to restore M1 support and fix a few other issues.
If you're not an InfoClick user please try our free demo. You don't have to be angry at Apple Mail's frustrating search any longer. InfoClick quickly finds your emails and shows you all possible remaining search criteria– unsuccessful searches are impossible.
