I hate to start on a serious note, so I won't.
Now that we have that out of the way, let's discuss the Apple event that took place last week. Once again I ask where are the new Macs? I keep hearing they are coming, but that's not helpful. The Mac mini is so old it's starting to collect Social Security, and the MacBook Air is using a cane to get around. I know at some point these machines will be updated, but I've been saying that for years and it hasn't happened.
Someday we will all look back on this time and laugh. Or we'll cry. Either way this is a sad period in Mac history and that's a shame.
Now on to the newsletter, where we will discuss Faust, the 47 Ronin, and Smokey and the Bandit.

Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.9 and Nisus Writer Express 3.5.9
"A Few Fixes and Mojave Ready"
The reason for this newsletter is to announce the release of Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.9 and Nisus Writer Express 3.5.9.
These releases fix a few outstanding issues including: potential crashes when editing footnotes in Page View, sporadic unwanted zooming when using trackpads, and a failure to respect the scrollbar jump behavior from the system preferences.
Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.9 and Nisus Writer Express 3.5.9 are available now and are free for users of Nisus Writer Pro 2.x and Nisus Writer Express 3.x.
If you do not currently own Pro or Express, they can be purchased from our store and the Mac App Store. Nisus Writer Pro is $79 USD. Upgrades from previous versions of Nisus Writer Pro are $49.
Nisus Writer Express can be purchased for $20 USD on our store and the Mac App Store.
Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.9 and Nisus Writer Express 3.5.9 require OS X 10.8.5 or above and both are compatible with macOS 10.14 Mojave.
