"The Shameful State of the Mac"
At the end of last year, in this very newsletter, I wrote praising Apple for giving the Mac some attention. Praise withdrawn! So far this year Apple has released… nothing. No updated Macs at all. This developer has it right. The lack of updates is disconcerting and more than a bit troubling. Especially troubling is the shameful amount of time the Mac mini has gone without an update. I would bet there are external factors that are preventing Apple from updating most Macs (looking at you, Intel) but it would be great if Apple gave us a bit of hope here. No more talk, it's now time to deliver.
Speaking of delivering, in this newsletter we announce a couple of app updates and SummerFest savings are here again.
While you guys are reading the newsletter, I'm going to try and catch up with the Marvel movies. You miss a couple of movies and it feels like there are 20 new characters. I can't keep up with it all...
InfoClick1.2.4 and NisusThesaurus1.1.4
Just in time for summer we are happy to announce the release of InfoClick 1.2.4 and Nisus Thesaurus 1.1.4.
InfoClick 1.2.4 has a small number of bug fixes and has added the ability to print emails from within the application. For a list of all the changes in this version please visit our InfoClick release notes page.
The only change in Nisus Thesaurus 1.1.4 is the application is now 64 bit.
InfoClick 1.2.4 is available now and can be purchased from our store or from the Mac App Store for $15. A 15 day demo is available from the InfoClick download page. Nisus Thesaurus is completely free and can be downloaded from the main Nisus Thesaurus page.
