I know this is old news, but I just read this article on Amazon over the weekend and I have to say I was astonished. However, it’s not just Amazon that has these problems.

As an example, I once had to wait 41 minutes for my 20 minute per hour break. Can you believe that? I was once denied a rest room break because “someone was using it.” That’s an outrage! Sure, someone was using it, but that’s not the point. There was the time that the company chef could not get a beef wellington cooked the way I like it. How can I be expected to work under these conditions!

Anyway, it’s back to school, and as functioning adults we all know what this means: the streets are ours once again! No more lazy kids eating your food, drinking your... water, and just generally hanging around spending your money as if it came from the money tree in the backyard. Now, since the kids are in school again, you can be as lazy as you like. Hey, hang around the house in your underwear. Eat food without a plate. Drink right out of the milk carton. It’s ok! No one will see you. Only you will know. Probably.

I’ve got a newsletter to write, and I don’t even know where to begin. So much going on, like a new version of Express and an update on the status of our products. Enjoy!

"New Version, New Low Price"

We am very happy to announce the release of Nisus Writer Express 3.5.

This new version introduces a lower price: only $20! It has also been updated with iCloud support, OS X document Auto Save and Versions, and is now 64 bit and sandboxed. There are also bug fixes, improvements, and enhancements. The complete release notes for Nisus Writer Express 3.5 can be found on the Express release notes page.

Nisus Writer Express 3.5 is available now on our site and on the Mac App Store. It is a free update for our customers who already own any version of Express 3. For those of you who don’t own Nisus Writer Express, you can purchase from our store and the Mac App Store for the new lower price of $20.

Nisus Writer Express 3.5 requires Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later.

If you write professionally, or are a student, educator, or just someone who needs a great writing tool, Nisus Writer Express 3.5 has the features you need to do the job at an affordable price.

Nisus Updates
"Status Report"

Now that Nisus Writer Express 3.5 is out we would like to update all of you on our other applications.

The upcoming Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.2 will restore the preference that controls how often autosave is triggered. There are also bug fixes and enhance stability. This should be out very soon.

The Mac App Store situation with Nisus Writer Pro has not changed, unfortunately. We are still working hard to get Pro in the store and we seem to be making some progress. We currently have no timetable when an updated Nisus Writer Pro will be approved, but make no mistake: we are working very hard on this issue.

InfoClick 1.2 is just about ready as well. New features, bug fixes, and other fun stuff are included.

As you can see, we have a full slate of things happening, and all of this will be out soon. Stay tuned to this newsletter (or our blog) for updates.
