I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty happy the new year has come and gone. We can now get back to work on things that are important. For me, those things are returning gifts from the Acme Corporation. I appreciate the gifts, don’t get me wrong, but when the company boasts that it has a “wide selection, instant delivery, questionable quality” you should probably not expect much satisfaction.

I mean, how many rocket powered roller skates do I need? I have plenty of earthquake pills, explosive tennis balls, dehydrated boulders, and do it yourself tornado kits. The worst of it is the anvils. I don’t need more anvils! I just need to return it for things I will use, like… well, I won’t reveal that.

I’m distracted now, so let me get on with the newsletter. To make matters worse, my pants are chafing! Whatever happened to no pants in 2015?

I’ll write the rest later. I need to return this jet-powered unicycle before I’m tempted to use it.

"Lookup Your Own License!"

Rock Strongo here, and I hope you all had a great holiday. No really! I may be a sore head but I still care.

Over the holiday we received quite a few questions regarding licenses. Here is a great example:

Unfortunately I have misplaced my license for Nisus Writer Express. How can I look up my license, or can you send it to me?

As the resident grump, I can assure you that I take no pleasure in answering this. However, I will do it because that’s what I do.

We have a license lookup tool on our main support page. You enter the email address you used when purchasing and you will receive an email back with your license. If you don’t know the email address you used, or the email you used is no longer valid, email us and we will look up the license for you.

I hope that answers your question.
