I cannot wait for this upcoming weekend. It's Labor Day here is the US, and that means most of us get a three day weekend and a well deserved rest. Personally, I have to work. No, not at Nisus, but I do get to wear a safety vest and greet cars while I am grooming America's highways.

By now most, if not all schools are back in session. For parents this is usually cause for celebration. However, it is also time to finish purchasing materials for the long school year.

OS X 10.9 and Nisus
"Supporting Mavericks"
We have received several emails regarding OS X 10.9 (code named Mavericks). For example:
"Are you going to update your apps for Mavericks? If so, are you going to charge for them?"
For those of you who do not know OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) is the newest version of OS X, currently in beta. This new version adds more than a few new features and other fun stuff. It also rids the Mac OS of many skeuomorphic touches that quite a few people seemed to dislike.
We are currently testing our upcoming updates to both Pro and Express in OS X 10.9. We hope to have preliminary compatibility with OS X 10.9 in these updates, both of which should be released soon. These updates, Pro 2.0.5 and Express 3.4.4, will be free to those who currently own Pro 2.x or Express 3.x. We will test again once the final version of OS X 10.9 is released to developers. If the final version introduces new bugs (this is not unheard of) we will issue updates to fix whatever breaks.
We will also test InfoClick 1.1 and issue an update if it is needed.
