Nisus® Software Newsletter
March 21, 2012

In this letter:

Greetings From Nisus Land
"Good Times"

My brother told me the other day that this month is a good month. Mad Men is coming back, Spring is here, and my contract is being renewed for yet another week. That means that I will soon be in a position to pay off my beloved Yugo.

So yes, I guess this month is full of good times. Ain't we lucky we got 'em? Good times.

The last newsletter garnered quite a bit of interest. Specifically the bit about writing a book in Nisus Writer Pro. We received more email on that than any other article in recent memory.

One of the best emails was this one from Peter Danckwerts who politely said the following:

I was interested to see the article on writing a book with Nisus Writer Pro. I, too, wrote a book using your sensational software, a 352-page company history called Beware of the Feast. I later transferred it to InDesign (for greater typographical control) but all the donkey work was done in NWP. In fact, I only wish that InDesign's document handling was as good as NWP's.

Thank you for the nice words, Peter. If you would like to share your story with us please write to us at comments@nisus.com. We could share your story in this newsletter just like we did with Mr. Danckwerts.

Now on to the rest of the newsletter.

Nisus Writer Pro
"Good Times. Wait, I Used That Already"

Reading stories like the one above is really the best part of my job. I like to tell people that we have the best, most passionate users in the business. I really believe that.

Speaking of passionate I have to say that you lovely readers have strong opinions on Mountain Lion, the next version of OS X. Surprisingly, most of the opinions were about the hardware requirements and if Nisus Writer Pro will be ready for 10.8, which will be released this summer.

Mind you, we answered this question in the last newsletter, but I will answer again. Nisus Writer Pro will absolutely be ready for Mountain Lion's release. We know quite a few of you will purchase 10.8 on the day of release, and we don't want you to wait for us to be ready. That's the plan, though I have to warn said plan is subject to change. If I have my way, though, the plan won't change.

So if you are looking for a modern word processor with the tools you need, the language support you deserve, and the support of developers and users that are both passionate and smart, look no further than Nisus Writer Pro.

Nisus Writer Pro is available from our store for only $79 USD. The upgrade from Pro 1.x is $49. A family pack (three licenses) is available for only $99. A CD version of any of these versions is available for just $10 more plus shipping.

Nisus Writer Pro 2.0.2 requires an Intel processor and OS X 10.4.11 or later.

If you have any thoughts or comments please send them to us at email address to be determined. We would love to hear from you!
