Greetings From Nisus Land
"Nisus Writer Pro On Sale!"
I would like to make a few things clear. First, I would like to deny charges that I have been spending all of my waking hours (including work hours) play Steam games. This is an outright fabrication! The fact is that I have been spending most of my work hours playing Steam. The rest of the time is spent recovering from playing these games.
Secondly, I am the only person around that has not seen or taken apart an iPhone prototype. How can that be?
So let's just get to the meat of this newsletter. This coming weekend is the Memorial Day weekend for us in the U.S. It is the time when we remember our military veterans. It also means a three day weekend for us working slobs. Not to mention plenty of sales. This reminds me to tell you about our weekend sale.
So, to celebrate the long weekend, we are putting Nisus Writer Pro on sale. You can purchase Nisus Writer Pro for only $69. You can upgrade to Pro for only $40. The three license Family Pack can be purchased for $89. CD versions of Pro can be purchased for an extra $10.00 plus shipping.
Just click your way over to our store and save. But, do it quickly as the sale ends on 31 May.
If you would like more information on Nisus Writer Pro, please visit the Pro page on our site.
So if you have been thinking about moving from Express to Pro, or if you are using another word processor and would like to "upgrade" to the award winning Nisus Writer Pro, now is your time.
Act quickly, though, as this sale ends on Monday, 31 May.
Tips and Tricks
"What's A Dropper?"
Mr. D.A.R. Doppler writes in about a subject that has apparently been bothering him for quite a while now.
"I was trying to customize my toolbar, and I saw an icon called the Dropper. What is the Dropper, and why would I use it?"
Good question, and one that deserves an answer. So, let's do just that.
The Dropper allows you to copy character attributes quickly and efficiently.
So how do you use it? Let's say that you have written a document that has headings that you really worked hard getting to look just right. You decide that you want to add a few more headings, but but you don't want to reformat them all again. All you need to do is use the Dropper to copy the character and style attributes to the new bits in your document.
To use the Dropper, you do the following:
I hope this long winded explanation works for you, Mr. Doppler.
Next time, I explain the mechanics of splitting atoms in your back yard.
