In this letter:

Greetings From Nisus Land
It Should Be Easy To Add

As I sit here in employee prison exercise yard ... er ... I mean, at my desk at work, I was thinking of something that happened to me when I first started working here. I believe that was sometime in the late 19th century or so. However, I was distracted by a large grey cat, so now I have forgotten what I was going to write. It's not the first time, believe me.

OK, I remember now. I had a fantastic idea (or so I thought) for a feature. I wrote some notes, and decided to bring it up at the next meeting. I presented the idea, there was lots of discussion, and generally things were going well. Then I made a rookie mistake. I actually said something along the lines of "it should be easy to add, let's do this!"

Big mistake.

At that point, things went downhill quickly. I did get a few laughs, a couple of people shaking their heads and smirking, and a laser death stare from one engineer that still haunts me to this day.

The lesson learned there is that I should never, ever, suggest that adding a feature is easy. Unless, that is, you bribe certain people in your organization. That last part smoothes over any issues you may have. But, it does leave you a bit lighter in the wallet.

So much for my enemy elimination feature. That feature would have changed everything!

Anyway, let's get on with the newsletter. I have to go exercise in the yard ... I mean, gym.

The large, drab, dreary, scary gym.

Nisus Writer Pro Printed Manual
Updated for version 1.1

I am very opposed to adding new features. Why? Because that means that I have to take the precious time out of my day to add these new features to the manual. So, me and me alone slaved long and hard to get this done.

And by me, I mean someone else.

The point of this rant is to let you all know that the Nisus Writer Pro printed manual has been updated for the release of Pro 1.1. The cost is $25 plus shipping, and it can be purchased from our store.

So, if you would like a shiny, newly updated manual to go along with your new Nisus Writer Pro 1.1, please feel free to purchase this fine literary classic.
