After a lengthy public (and private) beta testing period, we are happy to announce that Nisus Writer Pro has been released.
Keeping the best of Nisus Writer Express, including the award winning user interface, we have added new tools to help you with your work. Tools like Table of Contents, Indexing, Bookmarks, Cross References, Line Numbering, and Text Wrap Around Images.
We also have attribute sensitive Find & Replace, many, many additions to the Nisus macro language, Widow and Orphan Control, and Small Caps, Uppercase, Lowercase, and Capitalize Character attributes.
You folks who use many footnotes will be happier. The way Pro handles notes is vastly improved. No more annoying messages stating that your notes are too long. Footnotes can now span multiple pages, and Pro now has a number of options to control the display of note styles.
Nisus Writer Pro is available now for only $79.00. The upgrade from Express is $45.00. There is also a Family Pack version (three licenses) for $99.00. CD versions are $10.00 more.

Newsletter Update Part II
"Revenge of the Web Host"
In our last newsletter, we stated that we were changing the way we send out these email newsletters. We sent every subscriber a re-verification email. We did this because our web host (Dreamhost.com) required that we re-verify all of our subscribers. This is due to their pretty strict anti-spam policy.
That sounded like a great idea, to be honest. In practice, it didn't work too well. The emails look like those wonderful spam emails we so love to hate. We had hundreds of emails asking if these emails were the real thing, or spam.
This time, we will try it a different way. This time, we are going to send you to a page on our site that explains the process and how to re-verify your subscription.
