Greetings From Nisus Land
"A Festivus For The Rest Of Us!"
Woo-hoo! Yeah, I am pretty excited. Why? Because Festivus is here! I can't believe it only comes once a year. Wait, actually I can.
This year, I will be celbrating Festivus with my friends Rock Strongo, Lance Uppercut, Guy Incognito, and Betty McSmooch. It will be great, because one of the things I really enjoy about Festivus is the Airing of Grievances. Frankly, I've got a lot of problems with all of you people! But, since those mentioned above are the ones celebrating with me, they will get the brunt of my disappointment. So it should be fun, if not long and sweaty.
As always, we will reminisce about previous Festivus celebrations. Yeah, I remember those wonderful years where we would put up the aluminum Festivus pole (no tinsel though, it's too distracting!), and we would gather family and friends around for the Airing of Grievances This is where my father would tell us how we had disappointed him over the past year. Believe me, he was always disappointed. My favorite part of Festivus though is the Feats of Strength. As you all know, that is where the head of the household tests his/her strength with another family member. Sometimes this would take days, but that's Festivus for you.
For more information on Festivus, please visit our special Festivus page.
So Happy Festivus everyone! May you all survive the Airing of Grievances.

Take Control Ebooks Discount
"Because You Can Read"
Because I like to name drop, I just want to mention that I know Adam Engst of TidBITS fame. He may deny it, and I don't blame him, but I do.
However, there is a purpose to this name dropping. His Take Control series of Ebooks have received wonderful reviews. They are easy to read, full of information you need, and none that you don't. Plus, for a guy like me, they have pictures. Yeah, I can't read. Happy now?
As a special holiday present to all, I am proud to say that we, in conjunction with the Take Control folks, are offering a 30 percent discount on any Take Control Ebook. Just use this handy link to purchase one of these great ebooks.
Maybe someday they will publish my ebook: Take Control of Your Pants. I have submitted this several times, but all I got was a form letter asking never to write them again. Lousy editors!
From backing up on OS X to booking a cheap airline ticket, there should be a Take Control book for you!
This great deal lasts until December 31st, 2006, so act quickly!
Now you really can't say I have never given you anything. For now.
Nisus Software At Macworld
"A Yearly Tradition"
I am very fond of the City of San Francisco. I am also fond of Macworld. That works out, since we will be at Macworld. Seems that we are there every year, which is great because we get to see a lot of very wonderful people. They come by the booth, say hello, see what's going on with Nisus, and laugh at my lack of pants.
This time, we will be at booth 4028, hidden somewhere in one of the halls I am sure. Some of us will be able to show you what's new and exciting with Nisus. Others (well, me) will be there to keep away the riff raft (again, me).
Stop by and say hello!
