Nisus® Software Newsletter

In this letter:

Greetings From Nisus Land
"Movies, iPods, iMacs, and iTV"

Apple has been a busy bunch the last two weeks, haven't they? Last week, new iMacs and MacMinis. This week, all iPods were updated. Plus, there is a new version of iTunes.

Then there is the fact that the iTunes Music Store is the iTunes Store. Why did they change the name? Because Apple now offers movies for download. Probably the worst kept secret ever, but there you go. The price isn't bad for "near DVD quality" on your iPod or your computer. Hmmm ... ok.

Then there is the strange tale of iTV. This piece of hardware is a set-top box that allows you to wirelessly stream content from iTunes to your television. The strange part is that this is a product that doesn't yet have a name (iTV is a code name) and won't even be for sale until sometime in the first quarter of 2007. Apple never does something like this, so it is odd to say the least.

Now how does this relate to Nisus? It doesn't, but I have to fill space somehow, don't I?

Yes I do.

Nisus Writer Express
"When You Need To Write, We Are There. Not Literally, Though."

Why is it that I can't get a decent latte in jail? I mean, where do my tax dollars go? Well, your tax dollars, since I haven't paid in years.

Anyway, the point of this is that there are several reasons that you should purchase Nisus Writer Express. Excellent interface, the multilingual text support, the powerful find and replace, non-contiguous selection, custom keyboard shortcuts, and full screen mode. There is also the fact that our native file format is RTF, or Rich Text Format. This may not mean much to some of you, but if you need to exchange documents with someone, it is very important. Almost every word processor out there reads RTF, so in theory anyone with a word processor can read your document.

This way, you do not get locked into someone's proprietary format.

Now if this hasn't put you to sleep, let me steer you to something that just might. Ok, that's a joke. Really.

If you would like to read all about Express and what it can do for you, please check out our main Express page.

If you still aren't convinced, download our fully working 30 day demo from the above page. If you like what you see, you can purchase Express for only $69.95. If you need a CD, add $10.00 plus shipping.

So go right ahead and give Express a shot. We are convinced you will find it pleasing to the eye and to your fingers.

At least that's what the boys in jail say.

Nisus Writer Express Printed Manual
"Because You Just Can't Get Enough Express"

You asked for it, you got it. You can now purchase a printed Nisus Writer Express Manual. Exciting, isn't it?

This 231 page, spiral bound book is a fine read. Perfect for your coffee table, on the nightstand, or in that special area where you have time to read.

You can order this manual from this page.

The cost is $15.00 plus shipping, and is available now.

I read it at the coffee shop the other day. People were walking by shaking their heads. I take that as a compliment.

I have to.
