"Nisus Writer Express 2.5 Released!"

For weeks we have been sending newsletters pestering you fine people about Nisus Writer Express beta releases. Now, I can pester you about the real thing: Nisus Writer Express 2.5 is now available!

For those of you who didn't really pay attention (I told you there would be consequences!) Nisus Writer Express 2.5 adds significant new features such as right to left input (for languages such as Arabic and Hebrew), bullets and numbering, support for LinkBack, support for opening Word Perfect Mac documents, and many bug fixes and enhancements.

Says Nisus Software CEO Jerzy Lewak "As promised, we are pleased to offer our multi-lingual customers complete bidirectional features, our improved style sheet navigator, LinkBack support, and other enhancements on this our 21st anniversary as a Macintosh Software company. We hope this will convince all our Classic users to move to the the new Nisus Writer Express. Come and celebrate our coming of age!"

Nisus Writer Express 2.5 is available now for only $69.95 for the download version, $10.00 more plus shipping for the CD. As of this writing, CD's will be available in a week or so. Previous licensed owners of Nisus Writer Express are able to upgrade for free.

Now that beta testing is complete, we would like to take a moment to thank all of you who participated in the public beta test. It is because of your help that Express 2.5 is a very solid release. Of course, if you find a bug, it's your fault!

So to sum up, Express 2.5 is now available in its final form. Go download now and purchase. Say nice things about us. Hold your heads up high!

Switching between languages in Express 2.5 is different than in Classic Nisus Writer. OS X has some interesting changes in this area, so we adapted accordingly. Or something.
