Stats Palette a Gem
What a special little creature. The only palette on my desk top as I work. Not only does it give accurate word counts as you type, it also provide a word count for any selected text. Plus, pressing the option-shift key combination while selecting non-contiguous text will also display totals in the Stats palette. The latter suits my style of writing perfectly. Sweet!
