Hi,

we downloaded a freeware utility Writing Direction Menu 1.0 (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/p ... nmenu.html) to be able to write right to left. Now we can do it in TextEditor, but not in Nisus Writer Express. Is it our problem, or this utility is not compatible with NWE?

Do you know how far is Apple in proper implementing of BiDi? E.g. does the new version (Tiger) have it?

We are aware of a bug in Nisus Writer Express 2.x that disables Writing Direction. We hope to fix that soon.

As for Apple and Tiger, we are not at liberty to report anything more than we understand they are getting closer all the time.

Hello, I am wondering if there have been any recent updates on bidi support in 10.3 for Nisus Express or any other Nisus product. Please let me know.

We are limited in what we can say about this matter, but we are actively working with Apple on right to left support for Mac OS X and Nisus Writer Express. Stay tuned for more information.
