Embarrassing Behavior

Classic Nisus user who’s come back to the fold and hopefully has left Mariner behind. It was love at first use with Nisus 2. Job well done folks. However, the spelling error on my very first file has me shaking my head. It appears that the ‘check spelling as you type’ and the ‘spelling window’ spell check didn’t catch one of my spelling errors. It never recognized the word ‘behaviour’ was misspelled. After the document was e-mailed I found it.
Was able to recreate the spelling error on all new files that I opened. Even after quitting and and restarting Nisus. Oddly, one day later that misspelling error is found in all new files by both correction methods. However, the misspelled word in the first file still isn’t recognized as being misspelled.
Out or curiosity I opened a new file in both Apple’s Text-Edit and Text-Edit Plus and typed the same misspelling of behavior in both apps. Much to my surprise both applications also didn’t recognize the word as being misspelled.
Is this a Apple OSX dictionary error? If so why is it functioning properly in Nisus today and not in the other apps? Has anyone else had a similar experience?
