How do I uninstall Nisus Writer Express?

Uninstalling Nisus Writer is easy, and generally just requires that you delete the application itself (the .app bundle in your Applications folder).

If you also want to delete all supplementary files (eg: templates, macros, etc) that's also easy. Starting with version 3.5, Nisus Writer Express adopts the Mac OS X sandbox. That means by default Nisus Writer can't store files or data anywhere except its designated sandbox container. To delete Nisus Writer's sandbox container, and all its support files, just trash the following folder:

~/Library/Containers/com.nisus.NisusWriterExpress

Note: if you manually selected other folders for Nisus Writer to use, you may need to trash those folders as well. Those folders may include the Document Manager or an alternative backup location.
