Strane Save as PDF Problems

I have a formatted rtf Nisus document, which I then save to PDF. The PDF has a few pages that don't look anything like the rtf docuemtn. In addition, page breaks appear in different places in the pdf doc. Anyone know why this is happening?

After some labor, I fixed the problem.
The problem was that some text was being indicated as styled one way, when it really wasn't. When I restyled it the same way, everything worked out okay.
