I am using NWP with 10.5.1 on a G5 iMac first generation. When using NWP I frequently have very long delays before I can edit the documents. Just clicking on a document to edit can result in this delay. This is when no NWP actions were pending (printing, auto saving, etc.).

What can be causing this and are there fine tuning setting for NWP that can help.

There are situations on 10.5 where NWP does suffer from lag, which on an "older" G5 could be rather unpleasant. We are looking into the issue.
