Printing - Blank Page

I have edited a document which originally required two pages. As a result of my editing it now fills only one page.
How do I cancel the second, blank page? My printer wants to print two pages and I have to reset "Page Setup" to prevent this, which is inconvenient.

If the page indicator at the bottom left shows "page 1 of 1," but you see two pages in preview, then you may have found a bug and should email the document to support.

However, when this has happened to me, the page indicator showed "page 1 of 2" and there was something invisible on the second page, usually a paragraph (new line) marker. Turn on "show invisibles" in the view menu. Then deliberately type into the second page by hitting return repeatedly. Finally, hit delete until you are in the first page again and the page display says "page 1 of 1."

Thanks for your advice, ssampler.
Like so many things, once you have been shown how to do it, it seems rather obvious!
