I work with NWE 2.6 and I noticed that opening a longer (200 pages, 250 footnotes) document can take 5 minutes or more! Any idea why this is taking so long? The documents are in rtf format and were originally created with WORD but I saved them as a copy in NWE.

The problem is likely to be the high number of footnotes. We are aware of this issue and are working to solve it.
