Using macOS 15.0 - Nisus Writer 3.4

I have Synchronised settings location (in Settings, General tab) set to ~/iCloud/apps/nisus

In Settings, other locations point to the same place or sub-folders of ~/iCloud/apps/nisus.

However, I am now getting an error message:

"Bookmark data could not be captured for a file.

~/iCloud/apps/nisus

Underlying error: The file couldn’t be opened. [NSCocoaErrorDomain code 256]"

I decided to rest Nisus Writer Pro to default factory state and tried to set up location to ~/iCloud/apps/nisus but get the same error (it is also happening with Dropbox).

I would be grateful for help in solving this.

I am also now getting a similar error message when launching InfoClick.

I suddenly started seeing the same problem with Dropbox, although I have never synchronized Nisus and I have always had the settings in an ordinary folder on my hard drive. Restarting in safe mode and then restarting normally fixed it.
