Remove blue color from hyperlnks?

Is it possible to remove the blue color from hyperlinks? And if so, can it be done globally within a document? It's useful to have the color when there are few hyperlinks, but in a document with about 50% hyperlinks, it becomes intrusive - the underline alone is adequate. Thanks.

The color of Hyperlink text is set in the document's Style Sheet; you'll find it in the Character Styles set. Changing the text color associated with the Hyperlink Style there should change the text color of all the Hyperlinks in your document that use that Style.

Thanks, Adrian - I wasn't clear. I've changed the text color, in the way you said, but there is still a blue background behind the text in the hyperlinks. That's what I want to get rid of. Can that be done?

G’day, John et al

That bit is determined by Preferences:–

Preferences > Appearance > Colors > Marked Text > Hyperlink

Tick the "Hide this Highlighting" checkbox.

Many thanks, Adrian - I've used Preferences to set up a number of things, but somehow didn't think of that approach for this. A great help.
