Hello,
I'm new to the forum and using Writer Pro.
I want to create footnotes with its reference placed in multiple lines in a document.


I cannot find how to do this in the manual or in the forum.

I don't know how to superscript forum message content, the 1 should be superscripted.

How would I achieve what I have got in this example?

i.e.
John Smith1
Joe Smith1

1 Brother of Eric Smith

I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean.
Do you want to reference a footnote in many different parts of the document? Something like this:
(see footnote 5.)

If yes, then you can easily do this by inserting cross-references. Insert Reference To should be set to "Footnote" and Display Text to "Note Number".
