Hi! I've noticed a problem for a few months now. NWP is often slow to draw a Save panel when I save a document, sometimes waiting a second or two.

It seems most extreme in Nisus, although it may also happen in other apps...

Is this a NWP issue, or a system call problem? Any suggestions for improving the situation?

In general the save panel is under the control of the system. Nisus Writer is allowed to add some options to the panel, but ultimately the display and behavior of the panel is up to macOS and Apple. What version of macOS are you using? Did you recently upgrade your system?
