Footnotes to endnotes

I can't find any instructions in online help or the user manual on how to change footnotes to endnotes. I've written an article and included quite a number of footnotes - the journal now wants me to format them as endnotes instead and I can't see how to change this.
Suggestions? Thanks!

There was a thread on this topic a while ago. You'll find a good answer to your question
there. Skip over my uninformed guesses and scroll down to rmark's recommendation.

Thanks for the suggestion but... When I clicked on "endnote" in the lime green whatever, all my footnotes disappeared completely and permanently and without trace. No sign of them at all, no endnotes, nothing. Even "undo" doesn't bring them back.
Fortunately I have a backup... do you think rmark is listening? Do you think that the fact that the file was written (and the footnotes originally created) in NW6 has any bearing on the matter?

I'm glad you had a back-up. I'm afraid I can't advise you regarding conversions from Nisus Writer 6.5 since I was not a Nisus Writer user. Anyone else out there have any suggestions?
