Craig,
Yes, somehow a row of dashes ended up next to a happy face. I followed your instructions and dragged a happy face from the Character Palette to the Quick Fix Correction space, but strangely, once I drop it it becomes a sad face. I don't know if this is another bug or if my copy of Nisus suffers from depression. At any rate, it's not a big deal, as I never really use emoticons. But thanks for the help. Also, the problem occurred even when I tabbed out of the row. However, Al Hatch's advice seems to be doing the trick. Now I'm one step closer to moving from WP for Windows to Nisus for Mac. (Wouldn't it be nice, though, if a future version of Nisus were to include Reveal Codes?? But that's probably asking for too much.)
Al,
Thanks a lot for the tip. I set it so that "----" becomes a long line of "___________" and it's working the way I want it to, without inserting additional lines. I appreciate the input.
Thanks to everyone who offered advice and help.
Take care,
Eli
