G'day, ronald et al

Philip has written a couple of macros; viz, Move List Item Up and Move List Item Down. I am not sure whether they are now bundled with Nisus Writer, but they are available here:–

https://nisus.com/forum/download/file.php?id=2163

To use them, you just position the cursor within the List Item you wish to move, then invoke the required macro.

You can assign Keyboard Shortcuts to these macros via Nisus Writer Pro > Preferences > Menu Keys.

thank you Adrian. Is there a Library of not included macros available online ?
By the way, I noticed what is perhaps a bug: when I imported a macro via open macro file → macro → save as, everything works fine.
I tried to do the same thing but this time create a folder for the added macros, and I could not see the folder when I wanted to assign a shortcut in pref→ menu keys
thanks again

The Macro Repository is located here:–

https://nisus.com/pro/macros/

Or you might search within the Nisus Writer Pro Macros Forum.

When it comes to a new Macro sub-folder, I generally open the Macros Folder in the Finder and create the new sub-folder there.

Macro > Show Macros Folder in Finder

I just tested this, and the new sub-folder appears immediately in the Macro list in Menu Keys, without the need to relaunch NWP.

I think the problem — and the reason why Adrian's method works — is that you need to switch out of Nisus and back in. Nisus doesn't update some of this info on the fly, but it reads the information when you switch into the app from the finder.
