The file format is not recognized
NisusWriter Pro 3.0.1 and now 3.0.2 open all my Nisus files except one. I get the message: "The file format is not recognized. If you open it there will be no formatting, and the text may be garbled." And the text is really garbled. Any suggestions? I really need this file. And no, I don't know where or how to look for a previous auto-saved copy. Have yet to learn how. Thank you in advance. V/r, jwel

We already replied to your earlier direct emails, but basically we believe your hard drive or file system may be corrupted. Please run Disk Utility as we suggested and see if it turns up any troubles. Hopefully that will fix your problem with this single file, though if the file is still damaged you may need to salvage an earlier copy. Do you have Time Machine or another backup system enabled?
