Copying a table changes the style

Post by GeoffRoynon »

I am experimenting with tables and have created one that I am satisfied with and which uses my "Normal" style which uses the Gentium font at size=11.
When I select the table, then Copy it and Paste it to another part of the document, the size changes to '12'. The font changed to Times at one point as well.

Anyone else having problems copying tables?

Hi:

are you saying the contents of the table itself changes to 1pt high or does the Character palette indicate that size but the text appears OK?

What I find with copying and pasting table data is the the pasted data in almost invariably in Times 12 point, regardless of the style in the first version in the table. This has been an issue since 2.0.

The size in the character palette changes (goes up by 1 from 11 to 12) and the text size itself gets larger as text in one cell now takes two lines instead of one line in the original table.

We received your Feedback on this issue and it is now in our system to resolve. We should follow up with you via e-mail on the matter unless the a release gets out with the fix in it first.

Cheers,
