I just stumbled upon openthesaurus.de
Based on this you can download a plugin for the dictionary of OSX:
http://www.tekl.de/deutsch/Lexikon-Plugins.html
Is it possible to integrate this Thesaurus into Nisus (it's not offered in the preferences of Nisus) or does Nisus not use the same data as Apple's dictionary program?
Thanks!
German Thesaurus

Re: German Thesaurus
It's not possible to integrate this plugin into Nisus Writer, sorry. That's because we don't use Apple's dictionary data/format, instead we rely upon WordNet.
That said, perhaps we could adapt the data provided by openthesaurus.de to be used by NWP. It seems to be available under an open license. We'll have to investigate more- thanks for the link.
How do you find the suggestions/synonyms provided by this plugin so far? Are they very good?

Re: German Thesaurus
I only used it for a few days so far, as a plugin for the Dictionary-App or via the web-interface.
I like it and think it's good (for a very I'd need more time with it). I also have the German Thesaurus from Duden for Mac OSX and the two seem to be on about the same level.

Re: German Thesaurus
Thanks for your opinion on the thesaurus Michael. I'll file it as something we should look into integrating.
