Re: 64-bit update
Nisus Thesaurus was integrated directly into Nisus Writer Pro from version 2.1 onwards which first switched to 64-bit. Therefore, you do not need the stand alone 32-bit Nisus Thesaurus to use it with NWP 2.1 and subsequent updates. https://nisus.com/pro/releasenotes/releasenotes21.php IN NWP, you ca...

In any case, unsaved changes will be saved, but if you want to see a warning message for any unsaved changes, check the box in System Preferences:General

Re: Selectg tab to separate index entry from its reference
[...]In frustration, since "rebuild index" did not produce the corrected entries, I deleted the entire index and selected Tools => Index => Insert Index. To my bewilderment, out of several hundred Nisus index entries previously visible in the index, only eleven appeared. When you apply th...

Re: Character Styles and Attribute Problems (Linux Libertine
You have to remove "Typography Options" from the footnote reference character style.
That will remove the old-style figure option which is now applied to that style.
Under Number Case select No change while that style is selected in the Style Sheet:

Re: NWP v2: Non-native scrollbars?
Or you can save a combined script as an app and launch it (or place it as a login item) instead of NWP: tell application "Nisus Writer Pro" activate end tell tell application "System Events" tell appearance preferences set scroll bar action to jump to here set scroll bar action t...

Re: How do you link the Thesaurus via Services to other apps
In apps where you can select text, if you select a word, the Services menu will show this menu: Look Up Selection in Thesaurus (Command-<) If some text is already copied to the Clipboard and you select some text the Services menu will also show: Replace Selection (Command-Shift-M) These menu command...

Nisus Thesaurus was integrated directly into Nisus Writer Pro 2.1 and Nisus Writer Express 3.5 and subsequent updates; it is no longer a separate app.

Re: PageBreaking samePageSectionBreaks
I like Iowan Old Style , the font used in the document. It's a system font, and by me it resides in /Library/Fonts. I have just realized now that this font doesn't show up in Nisus' Font menu, neither in Format > Font > All Fonts nor in Format > Font > Show Fonts . The same applies to the Character...

Re: PageBreaking samePageSectionBreaks
See if this workaround helps.
I have changed that particular footnote to endnote (placed at the end of section instead of end of document).
The starting number of the next footnote in the following secion will need to be adjusted.

To test this, delete note number 10 and you will find the next section will begin on the same page as ...
