2 NWPs?
Not sure if this is a NWP question or an OS question but I've noticed something curious. Going to the info box in Finder (the one where you select a file and click cmd-I) and selecting "Open with" gives me a list of apps, on which NWP2 appears twice. I've searched my hard drive and I only ...

Re: Why are my endnotes roman numerals?
Thanks Martin, Fixed the endnotes, probably imported the style from someone else... The page breaks can't be removed, I even delete the text before and after the break, when I put a return back in the page breaks again... Either that, or it forces a break before the preceding paragraph. I'll send it...

Why are my endnotes roman numerals?
I've just done a global change from footnotes to endnotes (in an attempt - which failed - to get rid of unwanted and invisible page breaks) and my endnotes now all have roman numerals. NWP 2.0.4 and OS 10.7.4 Can anyone suggest why I have roman numerals? And you get a bonus if you can tell me how to...

Re: Scrolling bug?
I just thought I'd mention that I'm still having this problem (in NWP 2.0.2 now), occasionally and apparently arbitrarily. I'm experimenting on an open file, sometimes it's fine, sometimes when I click and hold the text scrolls in the opposite direction. There seems to be no logic to it, I've done n...

Re: Bizarre file legacy problems
Ok, it appears that there is a "track option" mode in Word which allows the delete key to work as a strikethrough key, but which (I would imagine) is not actually formatting it as a strikethrough, nor deleting it. So when is is opened in Nisus the word is neither properly formatted as stri...

Re: Bizarre file legacy problems
She tells me that to strikethough a word she presses the delete key on her keyboard. I have no idea how this creates a strikethough rather than deleting the word - which, as a non-Word user, would be what I would logically expect... probably why I don't use Word :-) And the struckthough word from wh...

Re: Bizarre file legacy problems
I'll check with her - I always use the formatting option, generally from the character panel in the tools window. She did once mention "Fast Track" - I had no idea what she meant and I asked her but she didn't reply.

Bizarre file legacy problems
I'm having some very strange problems with a file that I am jointly working on with a colleague. It's a translation and we pass it to and fro so that each can make comments as we progress, but as we do so we have noticed that previous and superceded annotations (specifically text attributes such as ...

Re: resizing headers and footers
Thank you!
(The headers and footers seem to be default-locked if page guides aren't visible - I suppose there's no way around this? Not that it really matters if I have page guides visible)

Definitely in page view - otherwise I wouldn't see the headers!

resizing headers and footers
Why are there no longer any "handles" to resize headers and footers? I didn't notice when this disappeared, but I used to be able to select the header (or footer) and hovering over the edge of the margin the cursor would change to a pull handle to resize. I now have to go to the margins pa...

Re: Slow opening files in background
Hi Martin, yes, LibreOffice importer, exactly as per your screen. And, yes, it's the same every time and with every file regardless how often I try. Just stops when it's in the background. Actually (didn't think of this before) I can close all my finder windows, switch to finder and still be able to...

Re: Slow opening files in background
Yes, already had the Intel version of 1.4.2. So I suppose I need 2.0.2.
