Maybe you mean Command-J, not Control-I.

Re: Sticky Format >> Highlight ?
Hi, frodeaux
You can set this in NWP’s preferences. Go to Nisus Writer Pro > Preferences and click on the Appearance tab. Click on Highlighters and pick your custom color.
Best, Henry.

¡Hola familia!
Why did I choose Nisus? Well, I can’t imagine another application that is as intuitive, easy to use, and amusing. That’s all.

Re: Chapters in Epub Export
Hi, Ray
NWP creates a spine when exporting to epub. Only the headings are not of the h1/h2/h3 and so on kind. All of the text is formatted as <p> with classes. eg: p.p1, p.p2 etc. NWP relies on the Mac OS conversion engine for this. The epub export feature is rough.

Re: Epub Issues
Hello, Ray 1. This is a bug. You need to fix the epub for yourself with Sigil, Calibre or another epub editor. Open the epub, look for the .css file and change the style. Please note that NWP exports font sizes in pixels. You will need to convert them into ems. eg: 1 em for the main text, 1.4 em for...

In a word, no (sorry). Not presently. Maybe they are going to implement it. Who knows? Martin can say.

Re: Recommended Reading
There should be an option to lock images. Page, position on the page, size, margins, everything. Just lock an image as if frozen. Sometimes, though not always (I don’t spot a pattern), they move slightly, and it’s annoying. You are forced to go through the book before printing or exporting to pdf. I...

Re: Embed fonts in .rtf file made by NWP?
You can export a document’s fonts using Font Book’s services. Open your document, select all, then right-click and select Services>Create Collection from Text. Font Book will open and create a new collection with your document’s fonts.

Re: Linked vs. embedded images; auto embedding of linked ima
You can open the rtfd, make aliases out of the images and put them wherever you want. I tried and it works. The only problem is icon preview doesn’t work on an alias. But Quick Look does.

Re: Linked vs. embedded images; auto embedding of linked ima
By the way, Martin, what’s that “Reference Type: Alias” for? I mean the drop-down in the image import dialog. The manual was not updated on that.
Thanks, Henry.

Re: Linked vs. embedded images; auto embedding of linked ima
That's not true unless you didn't turn on the "link to file" option. If you insert an image and turn on both "link to file" and "include copy of image data", then when you reopen the document … That’s what I missed. I did not reopen the document. Glad to know that. Hen...

Re: Linked vs. embedded images; auto embedding of linked ima
Is there a way to automatically tell NWP to import all the images that are currently linked to that file? I have experimented with a .rtfd file. I haven’t found a way to import all the images at once, or one by one. Maybe there is a way using the macro language but I don’t know, sorry. I noticed th...
